It gets it's name because it is a way to deflect water running down the side of a building away from the foundation. In our case it just dresses up the side of the house so it isn't all siding.BDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17831914806525111506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7257647879627729308.post-51773783727212732142011-02-03T17:00:20.005-05:002011-02-03T17:00:20.005-05:00Your kitchen is the exact set up that ours is in t...Your kitchen is the exact set up that ours is in the Zachary model. We have yet to figure out what we want to do for barstools on the breakfast bar but did get one barstool for the island at Bed, Bath and Beyond. It isn't a nice quality that I want and will upgrade to something better down the road but it does give one of us a place to sit or a place to put our toddler when he wants to snack and I'm doing something in the kitchen. Like you said I think the breakfast bar will be used a lot more down the road when kids are bigger or for entertainment.Mindi and Adrianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18337695787933198508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7257647879627729308.post-70190939880514216692011-02-03T14:07:27.674-05:002011-02-03T14:07:27.674-05:00I am pretty sure brushed nickel is standard for us...I am pretty sure brushed nickel is standard for us, too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7257647879627729308.post-88639094651666846762011-02-03T13:33:23.927-05:002011-02-03T13:33:23.927-05:00Yeah the brushed nickel accents are standard.Yeah the brushed nickel accents are standard.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7257647879627729308.post-1449410712573770642011-02-03T10:09:03.971-05:002011-02-03T10:09:03.971-05:00BD, what does a stone or brick watertable mean?
Th...BD, what does a stone or brick watertable mean?
Thanks, Jen. It will be fine, but I would have much rather been given the option of having it finished in brick. How much could it cost to do that tiny little area? Heck, even if took the price up to $7,000 we would have done it. Oh well.
India, you are right about the barstools. I think the come in 24 and 30 inches. I'm just trying to decide if I want them all to be the same or if I want the morning room chairs to be different.
We didn't upgrade the faucets, so since they are crome, everything else is crome. Did brushed nickel come standard for you? Replacing the faucets, especially downstairs, is one of my first priorities. I collected several Home Depot for my birthday and Christmas, so I'm hoping to use them for at least one faucet.k mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03051824826893553649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7257647879627729308.post-42559347566649886442011-02-03T08:44:52.780-05:002011-02-03T08:44:52.780-05:00I love the gourmet island...I think we need 24in b...I love the gourmet island...I think we need 24in barstools for that and taller ones def for the breakfast bar. ...look at www.csnstores.com

They definitely couldve finished that area with brick!!!! cheesenrice!!! Will keep that in mind when we go over the detailed plans in a couple of weeks for ours. Because we have a corner lot the requirements for the development we have to have a stone or brick watertable on the side facing the side street if you have a brick or stone front. Because we liked the look we are also doing it on the side of the house that has the solarium.BDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17831914806525111506noreply@blogger.com
